| Celebrates initiatives that address the unique challenges faced by regional and remote areas, such as geographic isolation, limited resources and access to services. Projects in this category focus on fostering economic development, improving services, strengthening local engagement and building community resilience. Winning initiatives demonstrate innovative approaches that bring long-term, positive impact to the lives of residents and deliver economic benefit to the Territory. |
Safer Territory Award | Recognises initiatives and achievements by NT Government agencies leading efforts to break cycles of offending and strengthen community security, delivering programs that drive population growth, enhance liveability and foster a thriving, inclusive community. It celebrates initiatives that contribute to a secure and welcoming environment, making the Territory a better place to live, work and enjoy. |
Excellence in Frontline Service Award | Recognises NT Government programs, teams or individuals who go above and beyond to support the lifestyle, education, health, well-being and safety of Territorians. It celebrates innovation, responsiveness, efficiency and customer-focused approaches that simplify and enhance the experience of Territorians accessing government services. |
Inspiring Innovation Award | Celebrating the bold ideas that drive progress, this award recognises NT Government programs, teams or individuals who champion creative thinking and embrace new approaches to deliver impactful and lasting change. It celebrates innovative solutions that challenge the status quo, improve systems or services and drive measurable benefits for the NT community or government operations. This award highlights forward-thinking approaches that foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation and continuous improvement. |
NTPS Spirit Award | Recognises the ongoing and outstanding dedication by NT Government agencies to NTPS values through championing ethical practices, inclusivity, integrity and efficiency; exemplifying service excellence, accountability, impartiality; and shaping a culture of respect and innovation across the NTPS. |
Together for the Territory Award | Recognises outstanding performance and achievements by NT Government programs, teams or individuals who demonstrate excellence in cross-government cooperation, collaboration and partnerships to deliver meaningful outcomes for the Northern Territory community. It honours initiatives that bring together NT Government agencies and/or build strong partnerships with business, non-government, academic or training organisations, working alongside remote and regional communities to achieve shared priority objectives. |
NTPS Agency of the Year | Awarded to an agency who has produced clear, tangible and sustained benefits for the Northern Territory through its policies, services or regulatory functions. Aligned to government priorities, the agency has delivered measurable improvement that demonstrates scale and reach of impact to drive systemic change. |
